It's been a busy week that followed a very slow and leisurely week around our house. We had first week of preschool (pictures to come), lots of meetings and apple picking. It's so easy to lose sight of having quiet time with God amidst the hurry and bustle.
That's why I love the devotional today on the Proverbs 31 site about coming away and finding rest in Christ. So good to read.
“…He said to them, ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’” Mark 6:31b (NIV 1984)

Love that God gives us permission to rest. In fact, He commands it! He is such a good God.
