Fun things to do in Central Ohio and Marysville

Starting with first picture-
1. Becca getting us coffee at yummy Northstar. Visit a local restaurant and support mom and pop stores.
2. Hang out and have a porch party with good friends.
3. Menchie's! Get some fro-yo. Use Yelp to check where your nearest eatery is before leaving home or on your phone.
4. Check out a local pool, Ohio is hot and humid during the summer.
5. Support a local race like the Gary W. Smith Classic.
6. Dine al fresco at Lindey's in German Village. Get there early or sit at the bar for bar happy hours. Other fun places to try include Barcelona, Alana's, Haiku, Tip Top and their rest. group. Anything local is always a great choice.
7. Visit the world famous Columbus Zoo! Train rides and boat rides are only $1 per person.
8. Momma and Poppa Shmidt at Northstar.
9. Take a drive to Marysville and eat at Benny's and then head to the Balloon Glow at the All Ohio Balloon Festival on Aug. 19 and 20. The Reganomics are playing at the festival on Saturday.
10. Check out Graeters, Jeni's, or Young's Jersey Dairy ice cream, all famous ice creameries. Mmm.
11. Drive to downtown Columbus and visit COSI and then have Dirty Franks or Phillip's Coney Island and try some hot dogs for lunch.
12. If you are in Marysville (my city), visit Jerry's House of Hunan and try the General Tso's Chicken. It's hands down my favorite ever. It's spicy, sweet, deep-fried deliciousness. Don't bother with the chicken lo mein or any other dish. Just order two orders and some crab wontons and you will be happy.
-More zoo pics with little buddies.
13. Mitchells Berries is one of the best places to pick berries with kids because there are swing sets and picnic tables if you want to pack a lunch. We had so much fun this summer picking strawberries. Sign up on their newsletter for picking updates.
14. Have a picnic with your cute little cousin, Ethan. Eating outside is amazing. No messy kitchen.
15. Take a hike in your neighborhood, the girls hiking by Mill Creek.
16. Mill Creek.
