Sunflowers are the happiest flowers

This sunflower was from a field in Mill Valley that is planted by the Pheasants Forever Club. 

I love Meg Ryan and her character in "You've Got Mail." Her famous line of "daisies are one of the happiest flowers" is one of my favorites. But I have to add that I love sunflowers.

They are bright, cheery and I love having them in our house.

It's spring and rainy here in Columbus. Maybe we get two nice days outside that are sunny and cheery.

But lately I have been buying sunflowers at Whole Foods (5.99!) and they make our house so bright.
