Seasons of life

Our pastor has a life verse that talks about the eyes of God looking for a faithful man who will serve God (Chronicles 16:9). Life verses are meaningful verses that speak to you, at one point or another.

I don't have one life verse, but Jeremiah 17:7 was a sweet verse that God gave me after Ava was born. It was a hard time of all-night feedings, coffee cups reheated two or three times before drinking a cup, and unending laundry piles.

Now I usually sleep somewhat through the night, but the coffee still gets reheated and the laundry is worse than ever.

But God's promise of a tree being planted by the water is still true in my life. He is our confidence. He is always faithful to us in every stage of our life no matter what is happening.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. aptly said, "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step."

Jeremiah 17:7-8

⁷ “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
⁸ They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

Also, ran with Jess this morning and it hurts to wake up at 5:15 am, but so nice to have your workout complete!

Jess had a speed workout scheduled for her half marathon plan so we did 3 miles at 8:38.
