Aren't afternoon naps the best?
Do you take naps? I feel like either people are a nap person or they aren't. What do ya think?
I can take an afternoon nap and still go to bed by 9:45 or so. I just need lots of sleep. What about you? If work didn't interfere, would you take a nap or get things done around the house or watch your fav. show or do a hobby.
I will giveaway a $5 Starbucks card to a random commenter who leaves a comment. Yes, I will do anything to get a comment. ha. ha. The random commenter thingy ends tomorrow at 3 pm.
Okay, ready, set --- Comment away!

I am a partial napper - does that count? Most days I can go, go, go! But then some days (usually on Sunday) I am ready to crash B.I.G time. I love sleep, but I also love to get things check off my list - it's a real split some days!
Yeah! Our first comment! Thank you Allison! Don't you love Sunday naps? We have them mandatory at our house.
Unfortunately, I usually choose naps. My laundry is three loads to be folded. Boo.
I would love to nap, but they frown upon it at work.
Well, go to your car on your lunch break like I used to do when I was prego with Ava. :)
I. Love. Napping! I mean seriously love it. I take one any day I can if Parker naps. I sometimes think I live in naps :)
Would it be rude of me to say your too damn cheery :-) LOL. No, I love it. You are like the opposite of me in that way. I don't care for waking up early (not a morning person), but of course my children don't care about that.
I'm always going to tell myself I'll nap when I'm reading to the kids before theirs and practically falling asleep. But, then I don't (95% of the time). When I do nap, I wake up feeling like total crap. LOL, HAHAHA.....so yeah, like I said you're the opposite of me. So, I just push on through and brew another pot of coffee if necessary to get me through my afternoon chores before the kiddos awake in their not so jolly moods :-) Guess it runs in the family.
Anyone who knows me knows that I could definitely use more sleep. Then I might actually have a smiley, cheery disposition like you Erin. But, I've always been one that sleeps to function and feels like it's a waste of time (and surfing the web mindlessly isn't right?). I'd much rather get my chores done and doing a hobby, so my nights consist of maybe a solid 6 hours if I'm lucky.
I won't take a gift card if I win, but you can buy me coffee sometime ;-).
Horrible at napping. I'm often falling asleep while I nurse Jude to sleep and think I'm going to nap, but then 50 other things seem more important. I am a huge morning person though!!
Tonia...You make me laugh. Always..Ask Brandon I am not cheery when 1.)Tired, 2.) hungry, 3.) no time to workout. Love that. Denise, that's good you get a chance. Jess, i love that your a morning person!
What is so good about mornings? The only good morning is one in which I am sleeping! As for naps, I would sure love it if our company adopted a 10 am napping policy (that is my crash time). It would greatly cut down on the amount of caffeine that I require.
Since I don't see that happening any time soon, I will stick to my Sunday naps...which I LOVE!
I would love to be a napper! I usually take the kids "quite time" (if it falls at the same time)to get a few things done and work on cleaning up! A nap actually sounds so good right now, just thinking about it makes me tired :)
Yes, NAP = sanity = me not killing my kids.

I wasn't able to sign into your blog to comment, sorry. But, no napping here really unless I'm trying to avoid a project or something, that Starbucks card would come in handy for that..
Is it bad if I say that I can sleep until the kids wake up and still fall asleep trying to read my Bible during the kids' rest time?? Naps happen a few times a week here - sometimes more - and it doesn't really matter when I wake up. I can talk myself out of them pretty quickly though with the "laundry list" of things to do around here. Hmmm. . .maybe I should go do a few of those things, or go read and fall asleep=:)
