Christmas morning at mom and dad's

Jessie and Nick on Christmas morning. Colorado love.
Ethan curled up so cute Christmas morning at mom and dad's.

Six cousins including, Ethan (2), Sophia (2 weeks), Ava (1), Brad (3), Adam (4 mths) and Colin (4). Such cuties! We missed our phoenix cuties!
So, do you want to sneak the cinammon rolls or do you want me to? Ava, Ethan and Colin talk shop on the chair together.

Brad gets Kung fu Panda at Dutch Kitchen.

Check your Christmas stocking!

Christmas morning

Breakfast with Santa and the Rooks at Polaris Mall

Breakfast with Santa. We got tickets for the event at Polaris Mall and went with the Rooks. Ty and Ava are bffs and love to scream and run together when we have playdates. Shannen and Ty post with Santa. He was a pretty good Santa!

Ava screaming because she did not want to be anywhere near Santa!

Ava sat so still for her makeup session. She got a star on her cheek.

You would think they have their own language!

Breakfast with the extended Kuhns family

Nick cutting up Colin's food at the Dutch Kitchen in Plain City.
Wow! Can you say large family?

Jessie, Adam (5mths), me, and Brad after eating some goood food.

Colin got a wallet for Christmas and proceeded to fill it up very quickly. We all died laughing when he asked the table next to us for money. And...they gave it to him!

AJ and Dawson Detweiler after our big brunch were stuffed!
Since our family shared Christmas with the Yoders, my mom's side, we proceeded to have brunch to celebrate the holiday and the Ragain's visit. My dad has three sisters, Mona, Nicky, and Lisa. Lisa was with us that day as well as Amy and Steve who were there with their three boys. Julie and Sheraya were in Wyoming surprising Mona.

Good will tree hunting

Brandon and Ava outside after finding a tree!
Wild woman, Ava, can't keep from trying to get the banner, above, at the tree stand.

Christmas prep

Tree hunting at our local home depot. It's too cold for tree hunting at farms!
Brandon putting up decorations while I made spaghetti and meatballs.

Two weeks before our little Sophia was born!
Christmas Prep
I wanted to get these pics up for history. Since Sophia was born, I have had NO time to even get on the computer. Last night she slept zero. Ok. She slept about 4 or 5 hours, but she had a really bad tummy ache and was really fussy. So she is sleeping all day today. gulp!
Bear with us as I post more pics from Christmas, including pictures from Jessie and Nick's visit.

Finally getting pics up

Ava and Sophia are bffs. Sophia is 4 weeks and Ava is 23 months.
Sophia is pretty in pink.

Take my good side!

Brandon with his girls!

How fun is a house of girls. Sophia was only 1 or 2 weeks here. So tiny!

No Sleep for the Weary

The 3-week growth spurt has passed...thank the Lord!
Reviving after a weeklong eating fest by Sophia, my spirits are lots better. After a mini-breakdown saying, "I don't think I can do it anymore" to my sister Jess, Sophia is eating every 3 hours now instead of every 1.5 to 2 hours. She has gained around 3 lbs. since Dec. 8 and is in the 50th percentile for weight and 20th for height.

She is sitting on my lap right now as I type because she is fussy so that's why my writing may not make as much sense. I took Emily's advice and use a bounce ball to bounce her -- getting a workout and making sophia happy! She loves to bounce. She hates to swing. What can you say, she knows what she likes!

She did great today and so did Ava at her 4-week checkup. She got a vaccine and cried, but it was easier on my this time than Ava's. During Ava's checkup, I was crying right along with her!

Anyways, two kids are a lot different than having one. I can't believe how much work it is. It's just constant because at night I am with Sophia and during the day Ava is a little wild woman!
